Tilde (Riga, Latvia) invites applications for a research assistant position (ESR) in proofing tools for a period of 21 month starting as soon as possible. See the full announcement under Vacancies. The deadline is Feb. 15.

Bergen ESR position reannounced

The University of Bergen announces that one of its two PhD positions in the CLARA project is still open and encourages qualified candidates to apply. The research theme of the successful candidate is in deep grammar models and parsebanks and/or exploration of bilingual corpora at lexical and grammatical levels.

Treebanking Course

In December 2010, Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen is organizing a course on treebanking, in cooperation with Charles University Prague. The latter is hosting the course in Prague.

Successful terminology course and consortium meeting

The CLARA researcher training course on integration of terminological language resources across domains and languages was sucessfully held at NHH in Bergen on 13-17 September 2010. The University of Bergen was also hosting CLARA’s consortium meeting the same week.
