Bamba Dione

Cheikh M. Bamba Dione is appointed as ESR at the University of Bergen from Jan. 1, 2011 for three years. Born in Senegal, he studied German and continued his studies in Germany, where he obtained his masters diploma in Linguistics from Potsdam in 2010. He will work on the grammar, lexicon and morphology of Wolof using a formal and computational approach and a language resources methodology, also taking contrastive perspectives using parallel resources and tools. He presented a paper at LREC 2010. He presented his work on “Handling Wolof clitics in LFG” at the challenging clitics workshop.
